January 1, 2011           CITY OF SALMON ARM RESIDENTIAL

                                Aldon Waste Systems Ltd. is now the contractor for the City of Salmon Arm curbside waste and recycling collection.

• Garbage bags and recycle bags must be set out for collection by 7:00 am on your collection day.
• Garbage collection service includes 1 bag of garbage per household each week.
• Recycle collection service includes unlimited amount of blue bags per household every second week.
• Garbage and blue bags are not to exceed 10 kg or 22lbs each.

March 1, 2010           SHUSWAP AREAS  (Formerly serviced by Shuswap Garbage)

                            (Sorrento, Eagle Bay, Sunnybrae, Scotch Creek, White Lake, Blind Bay, Chase, Gleneden, Tappen)

                                Aldon Waste Systems Ltd. is now servicing the Shuswap areas for Commercial bins and Residential curbside collection.

• Garbage must be set out for collection by 7:00 am on your collection day.
• Garbage collection services vary. Please call our office to subscribe.
• Garbage bags/containers are not to exceed 23 kg each.  (50 lbs)

June 1, 2009            CITY OF VERNON COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BLUE BAG RECYCLING  

                                Aldon Waste Systems Ltd. is now the contractor for the City of Vernon curbside Blue Bag collection.

                                Every commercial and industrial business within the City of Vernon is included in this recycling program.

• Blue Bags and Bundled Cardboard must be set out for collection by 7:00 am on your collection day.
• Cardboard must be bundled. Bundles must be no larger than 2 feet x 3 feet x 6 inches.
• Blue Bag collection service is every Monday / Wednesday / Friday.
• Business' with alley access must put their blue bags and bundled cardboard in the alley.
• Business' without alley access must put their blue bags and bundled cardboard curbside.

Jan 1, 2009              CITY OF VERNON RESIDENTIAL

                                Aldon Waste Systems Ltd. is now the contractor for the City of Vernon curbside waste collection.

• Garbage must be set out for collection by 7:00 am on your collection day.
• Garbage collection service includes up to 2 bags/containers of garbage per household each week.
• Garbage bags/containers are not to exceed 190 litres combined, and must be no more than 23 kg each. This is roughly equal to two green garbage bags or containers, or one full orange bag.
